Short and Sweet.......
That was our trip to Las Vegas....I went with good intentions to visit a yarn store called Wooly Wonders, but alas it wasn't meant to be. We arrived there on a Saturday, and it was crazy with traffic so the car rental got put on hold. As it turned out for the next three days we basically walked our feet off. I had a tourist guide, and we saw half of the destinations listed. There's too much to do in just four days. Next time we're going for a week.
Mom and DD gambling at the Bellagio.
Front Entrance to the Bellagio.
Beautiful hand blown glass...........
Mom, DS, and DD (half of her). Resting our aching feet at Bills Gamblin Hall and Saloon. We had such a good time there. Good live entertainment, and cheap beer.
New York, New York at night, and my sock knitting with a view from our hotel room.
Our last night in Vegas was visiting Fremont Street. Loved the Golden Nugget.
Last day we visited the Star Trek experience at The Hilton. I live with a bunch of trekkie nerds and this was an absolute must on the to see list. We had fun and it was actually quite informative. This is probably the last time I'll ever sit beside a blue alien.
So....since being home we started on the bathroom reno downstairs.
And since Sunday this is where it is now after three days of demolition.
Then on Sunday DD and I went to the Allied Beauty Association trade show held here once a year. DD was asked to be a hair model for one of the distributors FHI.......
They were showcasing their curling irons. DD's hair is normally straight, and then after about 20 min. it was curly.
Wow all that in seven days. It's a lot condensed down into a couple pictures. Next post I'll hope to show progress on my spinning of the alpaca that I had processed at the mill.

What a lovely family you have. Your daughter is beautiful Charlene. No celebrity sightings in Vegas?
Hey Charlene,
Looks like you had a wonderful time. The blown glass at the Bellagio is beautiful. All of your pictures brought back great memories of our trip to Vegas. So you folks are Trekkies. Which one is your favorite. Mine is Next Generation. Always liked Patrick Stewart.
Sorry you didn't make it to the yarn shop. Next time.
Anxious to see your alpaca.
